You Should Care was a song written and performed by Edna Strickland for the Stay Sober Society, and was meant to be inspirational to those listening to it.

On August 25, 1931, Marty McFly asked for a copy of the lyrics. He took them to El Kid and replaced Trixie Trotter's lyrics of I Don't Care with You Should Care.

As a result, Trixie performed the song, providing inspiration to a drunk and depressed Danny Parker.

Lyric Sheet

You should care!
You should care
What people think of you.
Of goals that you could name
Reclaiming your good name
Is what you ought to do.
You should care!
You should care
If your reputation is in desrepair.
It's not gonna hurt you
To reclaim your virtue
For you should care!
