Volkswagen was a German automobile company that manufactured the Volkswagen Station Wagon. Unfortunately, the Libyan terrorist driver of this vehicle didn't seem to think very highly of either the company or the van itself, as he cursed "Damn German car!" when it stalled at one point during the terrorists' attack on Doc Brown and Marty McFly at Twin Pines Mall.
