Naming controversy[]
Isn't it quite possible that Second Street was later renamed Hill Street, in accordance with Lou's Cafe's stationery? -- Riffsyphon1024 07:15, November 14, 2010 (UTC)
- I thought of that possibility, so I checked the movie again. In 1985, as Marty changes from holding onto the truck to the jeep on his skateboard, there are two street signs on a pole on the southwest corner of the Dept of Social Services parking lot: "Hill St. 400" and "Main St. 100". (I hope someone replaces this with a screenshot, I just used a camera)
In 1955, as Marty first enters town and looks at the Cattle Queen poster, the same street sign pole can be seen over his shoulder; it wouldn't make a good illustration photo and only the Main St. side can be seen on this photo
