Science Fiction Theatre was a science fiction television program that aired from 1955 to 1957. It was George McFly's favorite program and he couldn't miss it for anything.

As Marty McFly followed his father into his house, George mentioned the program and inspired Marty to don his radiation suit as "Darth Vader" later that night.

Behind the scenesEdit

• Ironically, the actor Michael Fox starred in the program several times. When Michael J. Fox first joined the Screen Actors Guild, he registered with his middle initial to differentiate between each other.
• The program was syndicated, so it appeared on different nights in different cities, usually on "independent" television stations.
• The episode which George McFly missed as a result of attending the Enchantment Under the Sea dance on November 12, 1955 was entitled "The Hastings Secret" and starred Bill Williams and his wife Barbara Hale.
