The Rising Sun hoverboard is a hoverboard series that was available in 2015.
History[]
The Rising Sun’s design bore similarities to the flag used by the Imperial Navy of Japan until the end of World War II (Japan's national flag is a red disc on a white background).
One such hoverboard was used by Chester "Whitey" Nogura, who was a member of Griff's gang. Whitey, Data, and Spike kept their hoverboards in Griff's car, and used them to chase Marty McFly around Courthouse Square.
