Mothers Against Drunk Flying was an organization in 2015 that campaigned against the piloting of flying cars while under the influence of alcohol.
According to the Newsline column on the front page of the October 22, 2015 issue of USA Today,[1] MADF had hired a new lobbyist named Katie Pearson, who was to lead a campaign to install kill-switch breathalyzers in flying cars.
Behind the scenes
- Mothers Against Drunk Flying would appear to be a renamed and futuristic equivalent of the real-life nonprofit organization Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
Actuality
- As flying cars have yet to become commonplace in our lives, MADD has no need to change its name in the foreseeable future.
