According to the Newsline column on the front page of the October 22, 2015 issue of USA Today, MADF had hired a new lobbyist named Katie Pearson, who was to lead a campaign to install kill-switch breathalyzers in flying cars.

- Mothers Against Drunk Flying would appear to be a renamed and futuristic equivalent of the real-life nonprofit organization Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
- As flying cars have yet to become commonplace in our lives, MADD has no need to change its name in the foreseeable future.
