I Don't Care was song performed by Trixie Trotter.

History

Trixie sung the song during her time at Irving "Kid" Tannen's speakeasy El Kid, until it was shutdown on August 25, 1931. During that night, Marty replaced the sheet of lyrics with Edna Strickland's song, You Should Care.

Her singing of it was apparently popular as there were records produced of it. One of the records was owned by Emmett Brown.

Lyric Sheet

I don't care!
I don't care
What they may think of me.
I'm happy go lucky,
Men say that I'm plucky,
Contented and care free.
I don't care!
I don't care
If I should get a mean and stony stare.
If I'm not successful
It won't be distressful,
'Cause I don't care!
