Harvey Comics was a comic publisher that was founded in 1941 after the buyout of the small publisher Brookwood Publications. Harvey Comics was sold to HMH Communications in 1989, and ceased operations in 1994.
The rights to the Harvey Comics name and its original characters were sold to Classic Media in 2001, and Classic Media was sold to DreamWorks Animation in 2012.

It published the Back to the Future comics Back to the Future 1 in 1991, Back to the Future 2, Back to the Future 3, Back to the Future 4, Back to the Future 5, and Back to the Future 6 in 1992, and Back to the Future 7 in 1993.
