Paul Faris was the artist who designed the art for Back to the Future: The Pinball.

In 1975, Bally started a new in-house art department. Faris joined Bally shortly afterward. He was promoted to art director at Bally in 1977. His artwork appeared on many of Bally's pinball machines, including Evel Knievel, Eight Ball, Playboy, Paragon, Xenon, and Centaur.

He left Bally in 1985 to start Paragon Studios, an art gallery and studio in Wheaton, Illinois. He continued creating art for pinball and video games, as he was contracted by studios such as Data East, Taito, and Sega.
