The Erhardt Brown Scholarship for Young Scientists was a scholarship program started by Judge Erhardt Brown, after Marty McFly convinced him to reconcile with his son, Emmett Brown, at the Hill Valley Science Exposition on October 13, 1931.
Sometime prior to 1968, Judge Brown died, and Doctor Emmett Brown continued the program to continue his family legacy. Several years after he married Clara Clayton in 1885, he returned to 1986 to live part time with Clara, in order to continue the scholarship program.
