Walkerville, Rhode Island is the hometown of Ms. Frizzle's class including the McFly family, the Brown family, the Parker family, and the Tannen family, as well as several thousands more including the Strickland family.

History

The town of Walkerville is first settled in 1790 and is incorporated in 1805. By the 1880s, it is connected by railroad to Providence. Construction of a new courthouse was well underway in 1886, the year a new clock was dedicated for the building.
